New Covenant GMC (a Global Methodist Church) opened its doors to the Florence, SC, community in November of 2024. Currently meeting in the city's YMCA on Rutherfod Street off of Second Loop, it is the first Global Methodist Church in the city of Florence.
Members of New Covenant Global Methodist Church packed the trunk with goodies at Thanksgiving and donated to the Manna House in Florence.

Meet Pastor Dusty Owens
Dusty is using his retirement from a life in public service, to serve God and tell the world about the reconciliation to God that comes from belief in Jesus as the Christ, the Savior of the lost.
Dusty served 20 years in the U.S. Army and 28 years with Emergency Management in South Carolina. He was the Director of Emergency Management for Florence County when he retired in 2021. In 2022, he answered the call Jesus put forth to believers in Mark 16:15: Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation..."
